Very useful product. Are there plans to have it migrated to 69.*

I was remiss in not mentioning Opto - thank you so much

I only use two add-ons, and this is one of them. I find it incredibly useful. So I was very pleased to see a TB68 compatible beta appear. Made my day, Thanks!

This is an excellent time saver; I'd be seriously lost without this add-on. Using the beta/alpha for TB68 now ...

Your work is very much appreciated, Alain!

Update for TB 68

Basic functions, such as s,m,g, are already working in TB 68. Please consider it as experimental.

Available at my github account: https://github.com/opto/nostalgy-xpi.git.

THE perfect tool to distribute the incoming mails in the appropiate folders. Keep things clean and working. FAST DIRECT and EFFICIENT. Unfortunately the add is no longer working with TB 60.x . TB is for me without nostalgy half efficient to work with E-mails. I would be very grateful for an update.

It's a great add-on, thank you for developing it! Can we expect support for TB 68 soon?

I love this add-on, have been using it for several years now, and it is among the first add-ons I install on every Tb instance. Though, I mainly use it for its S hotkey. ;)

However, there is one issue I have with Nostalgy: In my opinion, the hotkeys should *only* be active when in Tb's mail context, e.g. on the mail tab. Hotkeys should do nothing when in Lightning/Calendar view, and even less so when in Sieve message filter editing mode!

I find it really annoying that, when writing Sieve mail filters in Tb (add-on "Sieve", https://addons.thunderbird.net/en-US/thunderbird/addon/sieve/), every pressing of a S, C, G, and other keys, let alone their Shift-Key versions, Nostalgy reacts with some unexpected popup and I'm hindered from editing my filter rule. Please, fix this!

I loved this add-on and use it for years now!

It was a must-have for efficient inbox-management until the last firefox updates.

Please provide support for thunderbird 60+ or tell the community a workaround to fox the issues (i.e. arrows not working, show the last x used folder).

Thank you in advance!

Maybe somebody knows a solution and can post it here?

Awesome extension that really saves me a tremendous amount of time. I have always been looking for a tool that allows to use keyboard shortcuts to quickly move messages around, similar to the way Pine/Alpine did it. And this add-on just does the job!

Just one minor bug that I noticed: When you set the "Restrict folder completion to the current server" option (which is very helpful if you are managing several inboxes), in search result lists or lists of messages grouped by conversation thread, the S key won't work anymore on items in the list. At least no drop-down is shown in that case when you hit any of the S, G or C keys, while in the regular folder view, it does work.

Apart from that, I'm totally happy with the add-on - thanks for the great work!

Cette application est indispensable. Elle devrait être intégrée à TNB. Quelques bugs suite à la dernière MAJ TNB, j'espère qu'ils seront corrigés bientôt
Bravo Alain Frisch

With version 60.3.0, you can not select the destination history with the arrow keys.

This extension is essential. It's a "must have" and it works just perfectly.

Been using for many years -- truly useful / excellent extension!

One glitch with latest TBird 60.3.0, latest Nostalgy 0.2.36 when saving to a previously used folder the Up or Down arrow keys no longer navigate out of the Move Messages field into the list of previously used folders.

I honestly don't think there is any more useful extension than this one. This extension is the sole reason for using Thunderbird in the first place.

(works with the latest release, but stay away from beta at the moment)

It just works. Awesome piece of work!

A thousand thank you to Alain Frisch for this immensely useful and effective extension !

Although Nostalgy is said to be compatible with Thunderbird up to version 58.* only, it seems to work fine with v60.0.

To install version 0.2.35 on TB 60.0 :
- open the xpi archive with 7-zip
- extract install.rdf
- open install.rdf with any text editor
- replace 58.* with 60.*
- save
- replace install.rdf in .xpi file
- in TB, install module from the updated .xpi file

Et voilà !

Used it for many years, thanks you for all the fish.

Now i use Quick Folders Move and Dorando keyconfig (to set same shortcuts as in Nostalgy) but the response is very slow. It's working, but workflow is already broken :(

Nostalgy is great for quick moving of mails into folders. It is a pity that the author says, it is not likely that it will be updated to Thunderbird 60+.
