Thanks, really a great addon!
One question: It is mentioned that the external browser can be the default browser or another browser. But I can't find anywhere the option to specify this other browser.

Thanks so much for developing this - works a treat and saves me loads of clicks, copy pastes!

Been waiting years for this feature, surely the Seamonkey devs must now take note?

As an aside you can set which 'module' Seamonkey starts in by going to EDIT > PREFERENCES > APPEARANCE > WHEN SEAMONKEY STARTS UP, OPEN > MAIL & NEWS

Shame on Mozilla / Seamonkey developers for letting this issue annoy hundreds of thousands of users for 19 years. It's still there in Bugzilla, unfixed.

Thumbs up for the extension. It works like a charm. :)

I've been suffering with copying links to FF and Chrome for years as more and more sites don't like SM. Now it has become pretty much unusable on a daily basis, so I have to swap. Thankfully I've just found this add-on and it works a treat. Thanks very much for making it.

Thanks Lemon Juice!

I am using SeaMonkey 2.49.1 because I found that Thunderbird (on 3 Windows 7 machines) frequently hangs with a blank message window when trying to view a new message. (Latest Courier IMAPD server.) Clicking some other message and then the desired one sometimes works . . . I didn't feel like updating to a more recent SeaMonkey, since this one works.

Not being able to select another browser than SeaMonkey is an odd omission, which your add-one fixes, for me, perfectly.

(SeaMonkey now does the same hanging behaviour, so perhaps this is a server problem and unrelated to the client . . .)

Looked around a lot, changed all corresponding config-parameters, no success.
After installing this add-on: it's working as described!!

For most things, you don't even have to think about it. The links just open up in your preferred browser. If something does open up in SeaMonkey browser, it's easy enough to get there.

One place it doesn't work is if you click on a link in an email header. (RSS feeds put the URL in a "Website" header. If it worked there, it would be even better.

You made my life easier. Thank you.

This was really bugging me - email links opening up the Seamonkey browser instead of going to my system browser. This add-on works like a dream!

I've been using this add-on for 45 seconds now and it's great! It does what it says it does, exactly as it says it does it.

Suggested tweak: Add the '-mail' argument to your SeaMonkey shortcut to have it start directly into the email client.
