With the filter function comes with thunderbird, all emails met rules will be moved to a specific folder. As time passed the folder would grew bigger and I wanted to put all emails into sub folders classified by year.

Adding a column with the favicon of sender's domain to the message list
Audio Preview
Adds a preview for audio files (wav, ..) to the message view, so it can be played directly.
Message List Preview
*Show a message preview in the subject field of the message list.
*Enlarge the subject column to display more text of the preview.
*Hover over subject to see even more preview in a tooltip.
*'Stripe' display of message list for clearer view.
Compose Responsive Images
When writing new emails, newly inserted images are made responsive by setting style="max-width:100%" and removing width/height attributes.

QuickOWL
Quickly Open Web Links using custom context menu with selected text as input
QuickOWL saves one's time in copying text from email and pasting in browser page to do some action or searching.
X-Original-To Column
This addon adds a new column called X-Original-To in the message list which shows the original recipient address of the message (the contents of the X-Original-To header). This can be useful for systems with catch-all email addresses.

Link hints for messages
This addon adds a keybinding (ctrl+shift+E) for displaying hints next to each link in an email message. Enter the hint text into the box at the bottom of the message to open that link in the system's default web browser.

DontRestoreTabsRevival
This is a remake of the DontRestoreTabs extension. It is compatible with Thunderbird 88+. The code is based on the tabControl extension.

Old (classic) Icons
This replaces the new monochrome icons with the old/classic colorful icons. Uses the code from Phoenity Icons and the graphics from older Thunderbird versions.
