Great plugin.
Wish that it could summarize per e-mail sender domain too (full domain, partial domain( E.G @x-y.a.com and @a-b.a.com).

Thank you for this addition! Feel free to report your feature request here:

I'll gladly take a look at it.

This add-on is one of the things that keeps me sticking with Thunderbird through thick and thin. E-mail is one of the biggest time-sucks in modern life and to manage it effectively, you need good, hard data. This add-on is by far the best way I know to have access to that data. Many thanks to the developer for keeping it marshalled through all of the ridiculousness that the TB dev team puts the add-on community through, it is so very much appreciated.

Thank you, Peter, for your kind words. I'm so glad that ThirdStats is useful for you!

A really elegant add-on that works beautifully.

I use ThirdStats to visualise the number of support emails/enquiries being received per month at a particular email address.

Thanks a lot, I'm happy ThirdStats is useful for you.

Hello,
Thank you for this excellent add-on.
However, it seems that it needs a little update for Thunderbird 102. The functionality is fine but the appearance of the stats page (the top part) needs to be fixed as well as the popup where the top and right buttons are missing (all count stats button and options button).
Greetings from France

Correction of my review:
I am extremely sorry for the inconvenience, it's all my fault. I just realized that the same anomalies were occurring with other add-ons. I have restored my profile and everything is back to normal.
My apologies again and good luck.

Thanks a lot for your report.
It's working fine on my TB 102, can you create a bug report with screenshots for this issue?

Thanks again and greetings from Germany

4 stars for good concept but for me it is not working. It counting all mails as "Received". Not recognize "Sent" mails at all - sometimes show few random mails as "Sent". I have near 50000 mails so maybe it is to huge for database of this extension. "Sent" mails are about 7000. Of course I'm using the newest Thunderbird 91.

Many thanks for your feedback! 50k isn't too huge at all. Do you have your email identities configured in your Thunderbird account settings? Or if you are using a local account: Do you have all identities configured in the add-on options?
Please issue a bug report if you suspect wrong behaviour and I'll take a look at it.

Great extension.

Only minor issue is that the colours for the Activity heatmap and Temporal distribution do not all display correctly when "Use system colours" is on and "Override the colours specified by the content with my selection above" set to "Always".

Please create a bug report with corresponding screenshots, so I can understand and fix this:

Oh, what a relief that there is now an alternative to ThunderStats, which prevented us from upgrading Thunderbird for quite some time! Thank you Andreas for making it!
I just used PayPal to send some Kudos :)
May I suggest a few features:
how about stats for last day and last week (Just two buttons) to simply show how many mails received and sent per day.
Thank you again!

Esta valoración es de una versión anterior del complemento (1.5.1).

My pleasure. And many thanks for the support, it's much appreciated!

You can already see mail counts per day in the Activity section when pointing the cursor on single days. Also the per week stats can be found in the first chart group > last tab "Weeks". Let me know, if you have any more feature suggestions or you can create feature requests yourself on Github (https://github.com/devmount/third-stats/issues/new?template=feature_request.md).

Dear Andreas,
I've found a bug that prevents me to enjoy this extension.
Stats tabs does not display any results and I think that I have found the reason using the thnderbird built-in debugger : I have some "smart folders" (results of searches) that lead to an uncaught exception "Folder not found".
Probably you should exlude theses smart folder when you build the folders list.
Thank you for your work !

Hi Enzomas,
I'm really sorry that ThirdStats is not working on your end. This is a known issue (https://github.com/devmount/third-stats/issues/19) and unfortunately not solvable by me, as this is an issue in the Thunderbird core. It has been fixed already, but will only be available with the next major release of Thunderbird (v91). I'm afraid you'll have to wait until then.
