Seems like this add-on has been abandoned. Not compatible with Thunderbird 7. Wish they would update their add-ons.

So tried the modification to the RDF file and extension works just fine except for when replying to an existing email - then address list is blank and cannot be filled in. Running 3.1.7

Anyone have a solution for that - i see that LeJav has a modified version - does that resolve the issue - if so I would be keen to try that

Thanks

Robin

Hi LeJav,
please publish your rewritten Add-on.
Or could you send it to me by email? My address is "my user name"@gmx.net. Thanks!

DocEW

P.S.: I tried to modify the install.rdf but I got errors (in TB 3.1.7): When replying to an email, the receiver list is empty.

SqueeksTater Which .rdf file and where did you change it?

Puntuado con 5 de 5 estrellas

I changed the max restriction in the .rdf file from 2.0.0 to 3.5.0 and it's working fine in Tbird 3.1.6. At least as far as I can see, I haven't noticed a difference.

Really disappointed with silence of developer. Please update the version for TB 3.1

I think that's enough, no updates what's the reason, oke where are the others to make a new ad on?

I have not enough nowledege to make one, otwerwise the problems are history.

Any suggestions?

@ForestRacer

When I hacked the .XPI and restarted Thunderbird 3.1, I found that the recipient list for new messages was restricted to a single To: entry. Disabling the hacked extension restored functionality.

For full support, we may have to wait/hope/pray for official support from the developer.

When updated version to thunderbird 3???
Quan dispossarem d'una actualització per Thunderbird 3.x?
¿Cuándo dispondremos de una versión actualizada para Thunderbird 3.x?

To get past the problem I simply edited the .XPI

Open the .XPI with any "zip" utility and extract the install.rdf. Open install.rdf with you favourite text editor and find maxVersion and change to suit. update the updated install.rdf into the .xpi file.

Note that the button does not work, but adding the NotTo, NotCc or NotBcc to the email seems to work.

As always use at your own risk :)

I request contributions to a newsletter using a list and subsequently issue a reminder using the same list.
This add-on allows me to exclude anyone who has responded to the earlier request.
Like others I hope we can soon expect a version compatible with Thunderbird 3.
