do not upgrade Firefox to version 57 or this add-on (and many others) will not work anymore!
Unfortunately, WebExtensions (the new API for Firefox 57+) does not have the functionality for the correct operation of this addon in Firefox.
But you can install Firefox 52 ESR and enjoy work until June 2018

Please update to the new Firefox 57+ technology.
Unfortunately, WebExtensions (the new API for Firefox 57+) does not have the functionality for the correct operation of this addon in Firefox.
So this addon will no longer work with the release of Firefox 57 in November 2017!
This is the inevitable change in Firefox - all Xul-addons will die out in Firefox 57

Lets face it, their aren't many options now days for free downloads and neither was it safe and secure. Torrent Tornado is just slower, but its safer, better and gets the job done privately.

Whenever I add a magnet link, it always says torrent not found. here I should add that my organization has blocked almost all popular websites like youtube and torrents. I use TOR browser which is based on firefox. Please help.

every time i open firefox the addon opens a new tab asking for donation.

Opening this page every time you launch the browser - This behavior may be due to the fact that Firefox can not save preferences.

Firefox disabled Torrent Tornado as legacy and unsupported.

Torrent Tornado (like all other XUL add-ons) will die in November 2017, after the release of Firefox 57
To continue using it, I recommend installing Firefox ESR or Pale Moon

Раньше только им и пользовался. Сейчас не понятно - или дополнение само не может найти торрент-файл, или же это из-за блокировок на стороне провайдера. Но качать оно что-либо перестало. Поэтому удаляю.

It can't "find" any of the torrents I try via a certain site's magnet links, and worse SeaMonkey is unable to make any connections after running. I have to reload the app to be able to load websites again.
Profoundly broken, but if it worked I'd be very keen.

This works where there is a large number of seeds/peers. Even if the peers/seeds show as 75-100 it does not work whereas Bytesloader at the same time transfers at very fast speeds. On the flipside, your interface is excellent. Seed/peer issue needs to be tweaked.

[1] If it's a popular torrent, be prepared to wait up to several minutes for metadata to load in a stubborn foreground popup, which means you can't do anything else until it's done pinging every peer in the known universe.
[2] Especially if you're using a proxy (e.g. Hoxx - hello @visuality), sometimes you get a "Torrent Not Found" message at the end of that process & you have to either switch your proxy (often several times to find one that works) or use an external torrent client. (I've also had this happen with proxy turned off.)
One * deducted for foreground peer data loading & one for the "Torrent Not Found" issue.

Does Tornado work behind Haxx VPN Proxy extension. What I mean to say is, If I connect firefox to Haxx VPN Proxy extension servers, will Tornado use that connection or does it have its own. How does tornado connect? via firefox connection or its own connection?
