I use the tool a lot - very helpfull.
One important feature I am missing:
The rules are always based in the inbox. Rules for mails I sent (I have an bcc for all mails int the inbox so I am sure it was really sent out) always use the sender (which is me) as base for the rule. As a result:
Whenever I archieve a mail I sent the rule is proposed to all other mails I sent. So each time I send a mail to a new person I manually have to change the rule.
Proposal: if the sender is myself, use to "to/an:" field as basis for the rule.

Hi,
is it possible to exclude an email-address from the rules? I have [email protected] mails and they are stored in different directories.

Best Regards

I only installed it about 8 hours ago but so far it seems to be working fine. I just wish there was a toolbar button that could be used as an alternative to links in a column.

Update: After using it for a little while now I still like it but found that it does not distinguish between separate accounts. This is a big flaw for me because it will move emails from one account to another which is not what I want. This would not matter to those only using a single account but I have many accounts.

Hi, thanks! Toolbar button is now on the todo list!

Looks like that sometime creating a new filter it write it with empty rules. That means that is mathed on all email... the only solution is reset all settings.
Could I provide any log to solve this problem? I would be glad to help

Hi, yes thats unfortunately right. Its maybe timing related, if the server is somehow slow while moving then an empty rule gets created. You dont have to reset all rules, just delete the single rules until the problem disappears. Sometimes there are multiple empty rules (related how much you clicked while the server was slow).

Will try to get this fixed soon!

Works fine until you decide to change destination folder for one sender.
I have a folder called "Job", is this folder I have One subfolder per year, (2010,2011,2012).
Last year link to "2011(Jobs) was displayed for mails from "job". This year it still display "2011 (Job)" link even if I already put several emails in 2012 folder manually.

It would be nice to be able to edit destination link for each sender/subject 'cause other links are correct and I don't want to reset all links. (Adding a special filter action ?)

Very useful extension, but something went wrong with the last version and TB 9.01. I lost most of the remembered folders and it does not remember new ones. I reset the database just in case, but it didn't fix the problem.

The English translation is not the one displayed on the French version of AMO: the German one shows up actually :)

Ah i see, but i think i cannot change this in the admin section. By the way: if i send you the strings of quickarchiver, could you translate them to french? ;)

Very useful!

Proposal (as mentioned by others): Would be great to order outgoing emails by destination instead of sender.

Exactly what I needed. Works nice!!! I love this.
You see a new column next to the email name and by clicking it the email gets archived in the same folder where you archived the previous email with the same origin address.

To the developer:
1)Keys not working for me. But I love to click on the link as this tells me where the email will be archived.
2)The sent mail is not discriminated by the destination address. So no matter to whom I sent the email, the system suggests only one folder for all the emails in the sent folder. Could you fix this?

RECCOMENDED!!!! VERY HAPPY HERE.

This is a good complement, for me it works fine on thunderbird 3.1.14. It´s very useful when you want to archive easily emails coming from regular customers / providers if you have a lot of folders and subfolders

MEJORAS: El plugin no me resuelve el archivo de los emails que yo envío. Me explico.

IMPROVEMENTS: For all the emails I send to clients and customers, I use to put my own email in BBC so I receive a copy of the email sent in the inbox. It would be very nice If (for the emails accounts I have) I could specify to archive this emails by adresee and not by sender
