This add-on will not install on Thunderbird version 45 or later. Possibly earlier versions, also

Hello everybody, you can checkout "Flat Folder Tree" (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/addon/195535/) which lets you flatten out [Gmail] subfolders while still maintaining your Gmail labels. Rest of the features offered by this add-on have already been implemented in Thunderbird 3.1.

It's so sad that many developers invest a lot of time to write an add-on and then lack the time to maintain that add-on. please update this great add-on and keep it alive.

It works well on-line. However if I try to synchronise (to be able to work off-line) I got my same old recurrent error in gmail / imap: "the current command did not succeed the mail server responded: some messages could not be FETCHed (Failure)"

locale: EN_US

synchronisation is failed for setting an en-gb account even if my language selection is correct. As I check it from gmail website which specifed en-gb as en-uk, note that in fact they are the same.

wait for patch.

I like it. It is very nice to have the Google Apps option included.

Good, but omits this Gmail-recommended setting:

1. In the 'Tools' menu, open Options.
2. On the 'Advanced' tab, open the General section.
3. Click the Config Editor button.
4. Type 'mail.server.default.fetch_by_chunks'
5. Double-click on the mail.server.default.fetch_by_chunks entry to set its value to false.
6. Close the 'about:config' window and then close 'Options' by clicking OK.

This prevents a problem with attachments being truncated.

Works like a charm. Exactly what I needed. Thanks!

Registered just to review this must have app. It's absolutely fantastic. Extremely easy to setup google apps accounts.

Only a few small things I'd like to request:

1) A way to set default settings for newly created accounts

2) Batch setup (ie: csv file)

3) Not have the 'restart' pop up show after each account creation

Setting up 30+ email accounts will never be enjoyable, but this addon does take a quite a load off. The only thing that sucked was having to wait for the pop up to show then having to go back through the preferences just to change the times, folders, and the reply above/below settings.

THANK YOU!
