It's hard to find the settings menu BUT it's in alt > Tools > Freebusy. Had to do some fiddling around with my ftp server, but worked GREAT!

In usage with the Kolab-free/busy-service
it only shows the busy-status.
If a schedule ist marked as "busy-tantetive" Lighning shows the time as available. May be it is a bug within the plugin or within Lightning

I have installed this add-on on Windows and Linux (Kubuntu). But I can't see/find the settings dialogue.

Does anyone got this working recently? How?

The extension works near flawlessly with Horde Kronolith.

There is one bug with Thunderbird 3+ when there are a lot of events supplied in the freebusy file. When parsing, it generates incomplete lines that result in errors. I fixed it in a home version 2.1.1 and it works great now.

I don't understand why the 2.1 version is part of the older files.

Assuming I understand correctly, this is not working. Nothing appears under the settings menu when I turn on this add-on.

Non-functional with TB v 24.0 on Mint 15 Mate 32. No errors in log, and the Free/Busy part of the Tools menu never appears.

Tried to email [email protected], but was curtly informed that their team does not support this add-on.

Everything is quite OK, at least for getting others free/busy status with http from CommuniGate Pro (publishing happens automatically there, so I've not tested it). Makes lightning usable for me. Big thanks to author.
Tested with current Thunderbird 11 under Windows.

I try to install 1.4b versión but it sais that is not compatible
1.3 version shows this error:
Version 1.0b9 of the Free/Busy addon did not store passwords correctly. The addon will now perform a one time operation to move the password for ftp://ftp.company.com/freebusy/myuserid.ifb into the PasswordManager. You may be prompted by the application to unlock the password manager.
I configure the settings (free busy url) and when I try to invite someone to a meeting it crashes

Works as advertised. Developer is helpful. He handled our questions quickly and thoroughly. This will be a great tool for our small business.

I've tried this on win xp. Didn't done the trick from the first try: free/busy was always empty for any user. I've looked inside and fixed the issue. In freebusy-provider.js:34 there was fbRanges=[] which I've removed and it works now.

Nice extension. 1b14 works fine for me on Ubuntu 9.10. Could you please update it so that it works on Thunderbird 3.1.2?
Best regards,
Egor

Further to my error report of 29 July, the detailed error message is as follows"

A file IO error was encountered writing the free/busy log file. The exception was: [Exception ... "component returned failure code: 0x80520001 (NS_ERROR_FILE UNRECOGNIZED_PATH)" location "JS frame :: chrome://freebusy/content/freebusy-utils.js::anonymous::line 33" data:no]

Incidentally, where on d-wise.com do I find the support pages / forum?

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0b11).

I don't have support pages for the addon on our web site, but I will answer emails. You can send them to d-wise.com using my first initial and last name before the at sign to compose my email address.

Thanks,
John

Installed it a few minutes ago on TB 3.0.6 with Lightning add-on. Restarted TB and got a series of error dialog boxes complaining about missing path. This thankfully disappeared and TB main window showed up after about 10 clicks on the single ok button of the error dialog. No harm done to mail and calendar data, I think. Found the options button for free/busy in the Add-ons window disabled. No way to determine which wrong default path creates problem. The same dialog popped up a couple of times a few moments later. I have immediately uninstalled the plugin. I believe this is a very useful addition to TB/Lightning. Could this error be corrected, please?

Hello,

I believe that I have fixed the I/O errors on mac and Linux. Can you please visit the Free/Busy addon and download the 1.0b14 version? If you like it can you please write a positive review. Please note that 1.0b14 has not been reviewed by Mozilla, but you can get to it if you click on the link that shows all versions of the addon.

Thanks,
John
