Would be nice if it also opened a toodledo tab in Thunderbird like Google Calendar Tab does for Google calendar

For your particular need, I personnaly use the WAT extension, that allows you to open a new tab in thunderbird and define bookmarks. I defined a bookmark that points to "http://www.toodledo.com/tasks/index.php#context", and always keep this tab opened.
