The add-on works for me (Thunderbird 115.9.0 on Kubuntu 23.10), very useful in preventing me from sending unfinished emails.
Two minor issues: the pop up (modal or separate window) does not have the continue or cancel options highlighted, so I need to hit tab first to use the keyboard to continue or cancel.
Secondly, if the window or modal is dismissed in any way besides hitting continue or cancel, you cannot edit the contents of the email (you need to reopen the dialog and hit cancel, then you can again).

I really love this Add-On. But sadly, it does no longer work with Thunderbird 115 (I run 115.5). I hope the developer is able to provide an update soon!

Funktioniert exzellent (Thunderbird 102.6.1).
Wäre sehr schön, wenn das Add-on weitergepflegt werden würde (also nicht irgendwann Thunderbird-Updates zum Opfer fällt); es ist wirklich sehr nützlich...

Don't remember adding this addon but suddenly appeared in my Thunderbird and blocked sending e-mails.

Love this add-on, but indeed after upgrade to 102.1.2 you can't sent any mails anymore unless you disable this add-on :(

When you go to the add-on options and set pop-mode to "New window" it works as it suppose to :)

Used to be great and work flawlessly. Does not work with TB 102.1.0 64bit (with this addon turned on TB does not send any messages, after turning it off TB sends emails without any problems). Any chance for a fix?

I'm sure this add-on is a great extension to have but why so many permissions are required for this add-on to work is beyond me. "Read and modify your address books and contacts", really? It's so unclear what these permissions really allow. I don't understand why Mozilla is not clarifying this better.

Cet addon ne fonctionne pas avec Thunderbird 78.11.0 (64 bits) sous Linux.

If messages are not send (after upgrade to TB78), you have remove it completely and reinstall.
I guess some old settings are interfering...

The functionality provided here is essential (and so should be built into Thunderbird).
There is a bug whereby the confirmation window disappears if one moves away from it - and then the compose window loses functionality.
I have reported this bug and even - in one of several follow ups - offered to pay for it being fixed. I first reported the bug a month or two ago, I think. Response? None.

I see two further versions have been released recently but, alas, there is no change - emails still can't be sent while using this add-on.

This was a really useful add on but the update seems to disable send when writing emails. I hope the author finds the time to have another go.

I'm afraid to report an issue I just found on Thunderbird 78.3.3/78.4.0 + Check and Send 2.0.13.
"Send" and "Cancel" buttons don't appear on the dialog.
Compose a mail, press send button, Check and Send dialog comes up, press Cancel button, press check button to reopen the dialog and neither "Send" nor "Cancel" button is shown.

Great addon .Unfortunately doesn't work with Thunderbird 78.2.2

Can you add a check for attachment minimum size please.
