I like this so much on the mobile version of the browser that I've made it my default! It makes a really nice simple but colorful border around the browser tab. Very nice, Thanks!

I'm pretty sure you're abusing the keyword system. Making this show up in the results for "steampunk" is just stupid & wastes our time. This isn't remotely close to steampunk in any way, shape or form. Honestly? I think you're just trying to get more views/users. The "fencing" you're talking about isn't a steampunk thing. It's nothing more than a crosshatch pattern- something you see everywhere. In no way does this relate to the subject of steampunk, whatsoever. It's nothing personal, I just can't stand people who do things like this

Hello Cat,

I too, do not appreciate people who use tag words that don't fit their designs. You are accusing me of something that I neither did, nor believe in doing.

I am no longer active on this particular website, except that I still get mail when someone comments on my designs. When I read this review, I felt that I had to respond to it.

The crosshatch pattern that I used was made with a Steampunk brush from the SUMO Paint graphic arts program. I don't get much use out of SUMO Paint's steampunk brush set... when I made this design nearly 4 years ago, (one of my first designs) I was happy that I finally got to use one of the Steampunk brushes at all! I honestly thought that people interested in Steampunk WOULD recognize the brush.

I was active in this type of Browser design when it was still called getpersonas.com. In my opinion, and in the opinion of several other excellent designers, the opportunities for creating quality designs have diminished considerably since they migrated the site over and changed the name from "Persona" to the pathetic name of "Background Theme." For that and several other good reasons, I left this website and am now happily designing elsewhere on the web.

This site has changed so much, that I don't even know how to upload designs here anymore, let alone do edits. So even if I wanted to remove the word 'steampunk" from my design description, I could not. I don't think that I should have to either.

PS. If I had put in the word "Steampunk" in order to get more people to use the design, it certainly didn't work very well. There are no people using the design at all! lol

Note to Steampunk Fans:: If you are serious about creating your own Steampunk designs, Google SUMO Paint-- and take a look at their 3D Steampunk brushes. They are very impressive, and you can try out the SUMO Paint program for free.
