The purpose of this Statement is to provide you all the information you need to decide whether or not to install this module (also called "extension" or "add-on"), including its service of monetization Alter-Shopping.
The service of monetization (the "Service") helps to keep the module free thanks to advertising. If you do not want to be targeted by ads, you can install the paid version of the module.
The manager of the service, Alter-Net, is specialized in customized ads : you certainly prefer see something that interests you rather than a random ad that does not affect you ... Through the analysis of your visits and searches, messages can be integrated directly into the displayed page, containing the products and/or services most likely to interest you : for example, you are notified if a similar product is offered cheaper elsewhere. These inserts are clearly identified by their title: "Hot Deal".

For operating purposes, this module enables the gathering of a number of non-personal data, including your public IP address and your browsing data, stored for a maximum of three years, to compile statistics and optimize ads distribution, directly or through research programs.

This personal data is completely anonymous and treated in compliance with current legislation. In particular, never will be automatically registered your name, address, e-mail, login data : for your welfare, no identification information is transmitted... It is neither shared nor sold, rented or sold under circumstances other than those specified in this policy, except for a response to a judicial request, court order or legal process involving the Service Manager.
Everything is done to protect this data during its transmission, receipt and storage. This includes, without limitation, the use of secured servers, firewalls and encryption methods, without allowing to guarantee absolute safety.
