As said before me, this is an indispensable add-on. My headaches from squinting so much make it difficult for me to use Firefox, and has caused me to nearly abandon Thunderbird since last week, when Theme Font size Changer suddenly quit working.
I will also join the chorus to plead for this add-on to once more be available for Firefox Quantum.

Works for me but i definitely need a placement option. It does not make sense to add the signature at the end of a longer conversation. The option to place the signature at the end of the reply text is even implemented in the native Thunderbird settings .

I have set my Tb body size smaller and wider only through this program
instead of Windows system display setting.

I too had lost control of font size etc with prior version of this Add-on and latest TBird. But version 64.1 restores functionality.
Rather than berate the author for his efforts, I would like to thank him for providing crucial functionality for TBird.

The fixed worked for me but now I can't read my 'account settings' box/feature when the addon is enabled. It looks oversized and will not respond to any mouse clicks. Disabled, the account settings UI looks normal and responds normally. I am wondering why others cannot produce a similar add-on since so many seem to find it indispensable, including myself.
Update - Jan 9, 2018. I fixed the issue of the garbled unreadable ;account settings' UI by uninstalling TB 52.5.2, then installing a older version 24. I didn't like version 24 so I reinstalled version 52 and now the UI problem in gone/fixed.
Would be nice to have Baris Derin write a clear explanation of what is going on and what his plans are for fixing the issue, if possible. :)

I am so so grateful for everyone who helped untangle the recent problems - esp Anonymous user e05e1e on Jan. 7, 2018, whose directions this slightly-inept user was able to follow.
I'm so discouraged to see people shouting at and deriding Baris, who's provided a free fix for so many years for this bewildering omission in Thunderbird. I couldn't use Tbird without TFSC; now that there's a problem, the insults are flying. It's sad.
But they seem to be in the minority - yay! - and everyone else has focused on the fix. Thank you so much. You've rescued me from the hell of Mac Mail, which reminded me in less than two days why I hate it so much. Thank you Baris, and thanks all the helpers here!

This is a great add-on! It's a complete shame that FFox Quantum won't support this any more. Thanks for adding a TBird specific version now that FFox Quantum doesnt work with it. Could you make a similar version for Firefox ESR so that we can continue to use it, but not get updates on the version used by FFox Quantum?

have messed with this and am going crazy but i have a fix that works for me. was using waterfox with updates disabled but that didnt work as of yesterday with size font and theme changer. so now am using an older version of palemoon where everything seems to work. its version 26.5. i have all updates disabled and using version 43.4 of theme font and size changer. icon is visable and all works correctly. also any downloads work easily with download helper. more recent versions of palemoon do not work correctly with these addons. best of luck to all who need this to see easily. win7 64

Found link to Happy One and re-installed Theme and Font Size Changer. So far it is working.

Many thanks for the work you have done that makes TB usable for me. With the TB standard font size it is too hard to read.
I realize installing an add-on from an official source carries the risk you describe. If If TFSC will not run then my other choice is find/install another email client, re-add the email accounts, pull down nearly 100K email headers. The alternative of accepting the risk with the unofficial add-on seemed less painful.
I would not have installed the unofficial add-on if I had seen a developer post acknowledging the problem and saying when a fix might be available but I could not find any information.
I have now uninstalled the add-on from the unofficial source and reinstalled the official version ... and it still does not work with TB 52.5.3 so I am back to the same problem I started with. Please tell me what I need to do to get the official version of TFSC to work.

I'm using Windows 10 and am legally blind. A few days ago my ability to adjust the font size on Thunderbird disappeared and the font was set the the very small default setting. When I tried to download the new version, I read that it was not available for my platform. WHY NOT????? I need to be able to increase the font. I will probably have to switch to a new e mail system. What is with you guys?

I cannot install it. When I go to the suggested URL for T-Bird users to download, I get a message "this...if...not available for your platform" This is a most frustrating situation. I had everything running along well until about five days ago when Thunderbird reverted to a very tiny font (almost illegible) and I cannot restore my larger font, etc.
Please supply me with a uncorrupted version of the add-on suitable for Windows 7,and Thunderbird 52.5.2.

Still trying to get this fixed on my MacBook, running El Capitan 10.11.6. First few tries using HappyOne's link didn't seem to do it. Anybody have step by step assistance for a Mac installation? Thunderbird version 52.5.0.

Thanks Happyone for making it so easy to solve this problem. I spent a lot of time yesterday trying the unzip/zip change bootstrap solution but I am too unfamiliar with these things and failed.
I confirm what the previous poster said: this great offering by Happyone will not work with TB 58 Beta. But it works like a charm with the previous version 52.5.2
Download the file from the link Happyone provides, then go to your TB 52.5.2, click on the menu (3 lines in top right hand corner, go to add ons, click on the wheel for a drop down menu, choose 'install add on from file' , browse for that file and install. Thanks again.

Pour les non-pros, en français: télécharger via le lien donné par Happyone (drive.google..), avec votre navigateur préféré (Firefox bien sûr) ,et enregsitrer le fichier (sur le bureau ou autre).
Ouvrir Thunderbird, désinstaller le Plugin Theme Font" qui ne fonctionne plus.
Ouvrir la fenêtre "Module complémentaires" , via l'onglet "Outil". Cliquer sur la roue crantée et choisir, "installer un module depuis un fichier" et choisir le fichier téléchargé.
Et hop on a retouvé notre super petit outil bien utile !!
