If you are looking for a alternative to Google try Bing
not Cuil.

Looking for an alternative to Google, Cuil appeared promising. Search engine has a nice layout (no annoying iGoogle tab-style format as Bing has chosen to offer). However, in test searches I ran across multiple instances of sites that didn't actually exist (Firefox couldn't find the server or I was taken to a domain service offering the site name for sale) and in one case was sent to an attack site. Cuil needs to work on their results filtering -- if you use this engine, be careful.

I guess they are scaling up the operations
so till bots are more frequent we have to face such issues.

Great search engine. No ads and very fast. Even give you the choice to 'Explore by category' My only gripe is that it is US led and does not give the choice to search other countries pages. Hence the 4 stars, if based in US would give 5 stars.

Hey Nathalie,

I am not sure why you are unable to access NON US sites
are you talking about international language support for cuil ?
looks like they added it now !
I will try to make few more plugins explicitly if you are really keen !
