Use Etsy's own search box right from FF's search bar!
Note: This Is Not an additional search-bar. It will also Not add anything to your addon-manager list —Its A Good Thing, Much Simpler:)

Well, I am in the same boat as most. My alert when I try to add it on is: "This search engine(i.e. Firefox) isn't supported by Firefox and can't be installed." hmmmm frustrating!!!

I bet this is a 5 star add-on when functioning, but I'm having similar problems to the others before me. Not only is there no search bar and nothing under my add-on list, but I can't re-install it either. I get a message that says:

"Firefox could not install the search plugin from "https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/downloads/latest/14279/addon-14279-latest.xml?src=addondetail" because an engine with the same name already exists."

So, I can't use it. But I can't fix it either, because it already exists. Somewhere. I wish I could use this!

Sean... thank you for modifying your description and your conversation at etsy. I'm going to vote again, and hopefully I'll be allowed to. I don't normally vote 100% for anything, but your prompt response and the fact that you didn't yell at me went a long way.... and well, I owed it to you. PLUS, it's so cool to be able to search etsy right from the browser.... thanks.

I think the description should include how to work this add on for all the dummies out there, like me. I downloaded it, but now cannot find it within my own firefox. I'm forced to put one star because I cannot use this add on.
