This addon is reallly promising. Specially because Thunderbird Experimental Contacts Addons is no longer supported.

In my case, the ldap belongs to M$ Exchange, so, I dont expect to have good integration. But, to have integration against Facebook could be great.

By the momento, the Google integration is not working. I am not even requested to use my google account.

A linkeding integration could be the Killer feature of thunderbird. To see emails and contact photos from linkeding?? OMG!!!

If you can make Active Directory works in TB's addressbook, then this addon should also works, just make sure use the 3268/3269 port instead of the default 389 port, which might hang.

I've added back Facebook support in 0.8 version, together with LinkedIn support.

Would you please help to test if it works for you? And if it really works, please change the score higher, that could help me!
