One of my favorite Thunderbird extensions. Please update to 68.7.

Please update this useful add-on, it no longer works with most recent versions of Thunderbird. :-(

Update: I have emailed the author, and he has stated that he no longer wishes to maintain this extension.

His own words: "Hello. Unfortunately just upgrading compatibility version does not works for this extensions. There are some technical difficulties moving it on to the latest version of Thunderbird. It is unlikely that I will do upgrade."

So, is there anyone else knowledgeable enough with extensions that would be willing to fork this extension and continue it? All of us users of this extension would greatly appreciate it.

Great add on, very usefull UI and rules. Unfortunately not working with tb68, yet.

Flexible Identität funktioniert sehr gut.
Gut wäre noch, wenn auch Wörter im Betreff als Filterregel benutzt werden könnten.

This is a great addon and works well. The only thing I don't like is that it doesn't have a menu entry under tools. Heading to Add-Ons and then selecting Options is the only way I've found to get to the dialog.

A nice feature would be to create or add to a profile by right clicking on an email address.

Super extension, mais depuis quelque temps elle bugue : lorsqu'elle me demande de remplacer mon mail, cela ne le fait plus : ça reste vide .... C'est possible une correction ? PS : je garde TB à jour

This add-on is useful almost every time I send an email. Since I combine personal and work accounts, I usually am on the "wrong" identity when I start writing an email. This add-on has worked flawlessly to detect which identity I should be using, and prompts me to switch to the right one! No more worrying about selecting the right identity! Or getting co-workers confused!

Very functional, ideal for people with multiple email addresses.

I keep accidentally sending emails with the wrong "from address" for the people I'm emailing. This addon is exactly what I needed.

Very nice. Just want to mention for those that are having problems with the use of "expressions" that this add-on works very well, even without using any "expressions" at all. Just entering any relevant word will do. What was a little bit confusing at first was that the correct identity will get picked only the moment you click on the "Save" button.

This is (was?) a marvelous addon, but now, it must be deactivated if you want to send an email because it does not work anymore since the last version :(
