This TT DeepDark Theme is much better than the standard dark theme in Thunderbird 68!
Thunderbird standard dark theme is only light grey!
TT DeepDark is really dark and much better!

I am recanting my 2 star review of this product. I had said my Thunderbird theme had left the reader pane white. I was mistaken. That issue was resolved in Options/Colors in Thunderbird. I was wrong. It now looks great!!!!!!!

I think you all must fully agree with me that if we like this theme and want it to be updated to 68+ we should support Steva with a small contribution. I will make a small contribution on my next pay day. I have used this theme since it first came out. It would be a shame to lose this great work by Steva

Looks nice. For anyone wondering why the background in emails did not change to dark, this has to be done manually via following setting in Thunderbird:
Tools : Options : Display : Colors
(make sure to set "Override the colors..." to "Always")

Thanks so much Steva for your awesome theme! Since I've found your theme years ago, I DO NOT USE THUNDERBIRD WITHOUT IT! And right now, I will be waiting day after day for a new release, which hopefully is then compatible with the new thunderbird version. Thanks so much for this awesome theme!! :-)

Like others, I simply LOVED this dark theme for Thunderbird and was sad to find out that Thunderbird 68 did not support it. It was the best dark theme for Thunderbird! I really appreciate your explanation surrounding the new challenges for making this theme compatible for TB68 and am so glad to hear that you are working on it! I anxiously await a release.

Hello, this morning my updated thunderbird is so sad and ugly because of the incompatibility of this marvelous theme with the 68 version. I've tried to bump the maxVersion in install.rdf to 68.0 but, alas, it's not working :(

Thank you for your kind words about my add-on.
Concerning compatibility with TB68, indeed it is not possible to use the current version of my theme even by upgrading the compatibility number in the install.rdf file. TB68 brought some major changes and I need to rebuild my add-on. It won't be anymore a "theme extension" as it used to be (because starting TB68 themes can't deeply customize the UI anymore), but "simply" an "extension" ("normal" extensions have still the possibility to extensively modify the UI).
I started to work on the port, but seeing that I don't receive that much support for my add-on and thereby have to exclusively work on it during my free time, it will take some time before a new version of my theme will be available.
