Cannot install it into Thunderbird 2 - it says that it could not verify the signature, code 260. I think TB 2 does not support addons signing at all. Solution? Do you have an unsigned version?

Hey,
I give you a 5 star review because I love how active you are in the reviews. The tool does everything it promises, but I would be very interested in the feature you have linked (dead nowadays) in another review: I am really looking for a line break remover. Would be so great!
Also: Is this extension open source? If so: Where can I find the source code?

This addon was good when it was up-to-date. Since there wasn't any Multi Process Compatible addon for copying plain text, I made a new one

If in options, all three of the upper options (Trim space around text, Remove duplicate spaces, and Remove duplicate blank lines) are unchecked, the "Copy As Plain Text" line in the right-click context menu is greyed out and cannot be used. I want this add on solely as a way to strip out the formatting and fonts of text I copy/paste, not to "help" me by editing the text in ways that I do not want.

it is the most useful and amazing addon ever , it is stopped now suddenly .... why ???
Which version of CAPT are you using? I just tested again with FF44.0.2 and the most recent "signed" version (1.0.9.1) of the addon and it is still functioning fine. You may need to check that there is not a conflict with another addon you have installed. If you have further questions, please post them in the forum [ http://forum.infas.net/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=2 ].

Such a simple add-on, but one that's made my life easier. Just right-click on your selected material, and click "Copy As Plain Text" -- and you've removed all the nonsense stuff you never wanted. Bam!

What a major disappointment. I use The yahoo widget clipboard washer because I edit a daily radio show and make and tag MP3s for the subscribers. I copy the guests and topics for all 3 hours in one fell swoop. I thought I could use this instead....No such luck....clipboard washer has the option to remove ALL line breaks, not just repeated empty ones...how could this developer not understand how necessary such an option would be....gotta keep using clipboard washer.

Notes are made from the reviews received, and that becomes a guiding force with regard to updates and new features. I just wanted to let you know that an unofficial update (aka: unsigned) has just been uploaded to the home page [ http://forum.infas.net/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=2 ] a few minutes ago. It has a new feature to remove ALL carriage returns (ie: line breaks). So multiple paragraphs or groups of text can now become just one paragraph. I only have your short-and-to-the-point review to go off of, but I think this is the feature for which you were looking.

this extension is useful, but it is incompatible with google drive (Mac). 'Copy' function is completely disabled when editing a google doc.

Still works great with Firefox 37 :-)
My prior review indicated that the addon had stopped working, but the developer took the time to re-test and suggested that I check that other extensions weren't creating a conflict (there was in fact an extension which disabled the relevant keybindings, and I was able to resolve the issue).
My only request at this point is for the developer to provide a more reliable method of contact, as I was unable to post in the forum (it said "Anti-spam: Complete the task" (with nothing else)). Developer's home page wouldn't load for me, either; I was unable to determine any other method of contact apart from posting a review.
The forum website for CAPT had a major Vomit Session that pretty much hosed a ton of stuff and I have been working through getting it back online. It was during this timespan that you attempted to leave a post. Sorry for any frustrations you encountered.
As I write this, the main forum for CAPT is now 95% back online (minus pre-vs posts) and have re-enabled guest posting (moderated) there as well. Also the links in the CAPT Mozilla addons page have been updated to reflect the changes.

It didn't work for me. I seen no difference when testing it.
This is because you were attempting to use the System Override as the "default copy method", which unfortunately is bugged and not working as expected. This will be fixed in the next "Official" update that gets posted here to the Mozilla Addons site. The other options do work fine.

This is good about 70% of the time. But just like other users are reporting it is causing freezing issues after I use just standard copy.
