As new e-mail accounts are added in the future,* it SHOULD already, in the "vanilla" Thunderbird, be possible to re-order these ACCOUNTS (ie NOT merely folders within an account) in the Accounts Settings window (reached by Tools -> Accounts Settings). This addon provides the ONLY way to achieve this; one shouldn't have to install an addon, which offers a secondary afterthought, for this; it is FUNDAMENTAL behaviour.

Thunderbird developers; TAKE NOTE!

* And, very distressingly, one is becoming more-and-more encouraged to open a new e-mail account with some stupid organisation or other.
