Overall a good idea and I'd love to use it. Unfortunately, the field for adding a description of the created event is inactive. For this reason, it is useless to me, and for that, I uninstalled it.

This add-on was working wonderfully until I updated Thunderbird (78.6.0 _ 64-bit) and I can no longer sync my calendar.

Honestly, just installed BUT -- button works perfectly, display is very nice -- updates ARE BI-DIRECTONAL. This is what I looked for a few years ago and never found.

OMG THE BEST GOOLGE CALENDAR PLUGIN.

I bought a new laptop and had to install a new version of Thunderbird 68.8.0 (32-bit). Unfortunately, the old Google Calendar extension by Philipp Kewisch was not compatible with the new version.

Then I discover this Google Calendar Plugin by
I didn't have to uninstall the old Thunderbird email in order to use the other Google Calendar extensions that were offered by other developers.

This plugin works perfectly! Thank you! I saved a ton of precious time not having to sort through the forum to find a work around.

After last thunderbird update is not working so well as used. I have 3 google account and when i change account it open the calendar in the browser, not inside thunderbird. Is there a solution?

Excellent; the ONLY Google Calendar addon that works with TB 68+
Google Provider and others stopped working.
Notice it puts a small button on bar which you need to press to get the calendar.
