Does not really use the google.de website, everything is still in english!
Use the plugin "Google Deutschland Private Web Search" instead, it's quite good!

Es wird leider nicht wirklich die google.de website benutzt, es bleibt alles auf englisch. Ich empfehle das folgende Plugin, das tut was es soll, die deutsche Google Seite nutzen (vom Namen "Private Websearch" nicht irritieren lassen): "Google Deutschland Private Web Search"

Wie schon Felix bemerkt hat: Alle weiteren Links (z. B. Shopping) bleiben auf der englischen Google-Seite. Wenn man gleich bei google.de startet, stimmt auch der Rest.

Why not use the keyword feature of the bookmarks?

I have this in a bookmark as the "location" property, and assigned it
the "gg" (google german) as the "keyword" property:

This plugin searches google.com and displays the results in German. Which will not give you the results that you would get from Google.de. Please change the search engine to google.de.

As a German Firefox 3.6.8 user I would like the Firefox search field to search against google.de so that I can see results from google.de that are not available on google.com (e.g. results for shopping are U.S. only on google.com)

This addon is perfect for someone who seaches in both google.com and google.de. Simple, but exactly what I needed. I just wish the icon had something to indicate that it was the .de version.

This addon is just the google.com search in German - which is absolutely useless, cause the results are the same as in standard google-search (at least if you're located in Germany).
Please update the addon, so is refers to the real google.de-search. Otherwise it's nonsense.
