ATTENTION: This add-on will cease to function in Firefox 57, due to legacy add-ons no longer being supported. Although a WebExtensions API is in the works, it is not available in Firefox 57. Unfortunately, there is nothing I can do, other than hope that the API gets into Firefox 58.
This extension adds a "Tags" field in the password manager. You may specify an arbitrary comma-separated list of tags for any password by typing them in the text box. You can also add arbitrary text in the form of "metadata fields" by selecting "Edit metadata" in the context menu or pressing "m" while the row is focused.
Additionally, if you enable the appropriate option, you can get a context submenu for login forms that shows each username with its associated tags and allows you to fill the form by selecting one.
