Very sad that Thunderbird 45+ doesn't support this decent theme any more. I'm using the combination similar to Topopop:

NoiaButtons

Yes, Nautipolis or Nuvola + CuteButtons Crystal SVG + NewScrollbars aka Noia Scroll. + Theme Font & Size Changer (font size = 19) : and Thunderbird remains my favorite Email client.

Anyone looking to replace this excellent theme for Thunderbird 45+ or new Firefox - I am using "Nuvola" which is very very similar.
Shame this is being discontinued but can certainly sympathise with the time that needs to be taken to constantly keep it updated, thanks for all your work in the past - been using it or various Noia based themes for as long as I can remember.

How to
Edit the file using vim and edit the install.rdf file. Navigate to the firefox section and change maxversion to 48.

Save the changes and install. The only problem is that you cannot see the sync section under preferences.

Noia fox was my absolute favourite theme but i understand that it cannot go on forever.
I wish to thank AeturnalNarcosis for the link to make the theme work for the latest version of FF (as i write it is 46.0). I did it and it is perfect with no bugs so far! Many many thanks for the tips.

This skin is by a long shot, the best of the best. All others fall far, far short. I have tried and tested numerous skins that just don't have the heart and soul this one does. It was clearly a labor of love for the developer. It has a beautifully crafted layout with clean, crisp icons, a handful of add-ons that work alongside it, such as the fox options, noia extra buttons, etc.

That being said, it is out dated. The only options for skinning these days are pathetic background images. Either the developers have gotten lazy, or the competent ones have given up on Firefox. A picture of stars overlaid on a clone of Google Chrome is not the Firefox that I have grown to love over the last decade. Noia Fox is.

And on a side note, this Theme works on the newest version of Firefox, which as I type is 45. Unfortunately, it is only set to be compatible up to version 40. I can tell you, it works on version 45 exactly as well as it did on version 40. If you want to experience a full-fledged, artfully crafted, masterfully designed Firefox theme like this, follow the instructions on this link:

David Vincent, many thanks for your wonderful work and creativity all of these years! I'm going to try this last and final version with FF41 and hopefully it works... if it does, I'll keep 41 for a very long time.

Я пробовал почти все темы для firefox
и лишь одна тема мне была по душе Noia Fox
Мне очень не хочется расставаться с noia (((((

please please update noia fox its the only one i use, if you dont i will have to get a mac and i dont have any money so please update this is no1 for appearance ad ons.

if you cant change for every beta can you just fix the stable vers.
ps
if there is no update noia buttons makes the default theme bearable.

works for ff now but what when ff 43.0+ comes along....i can't fix that, but, i hope someone can....
if not then noia will be missed
