Thanks for the extension. It's just great!
Looking forward for a port to Quantum. I hope...

Je suis revenue à SeaMonkey pour les extensions et celle-ci y fonctionne parfaitement. Merci

One of my most painful losses in the upgrade to Quantum. Is an an update even possible now? *cries*

Very useful. Begging for upgration for quantum.

Ottimo add-on, lo uso da anni con soddisfazione. Firefox dovrebbe aggiornarsi e consentirne l'installazione sulla versione Quantum.

Please correspond to firefox57.0.

Very useful extension, I basically forge all my referers unless it ends up breaking a stupid site that requires a proper referer for some bad reason.

I hope it gets ported to Fx 57... if that's even possible with that horrible WebExtension horror.

It's easy to use, configure if needed and stops sites knowing where I've been and where I'm going. Perfect! No one needs to know that I've just checked my mail and am now going to check out online newspapers, that's my business and RefControl is one of five or six apps (as well as some tweaks in about:config) in Firefox that help me stay safe and secure on the internet.

Please update this addon to work with the new WebExtensions

Идея хорошая, но почти сразу выяснил, что часть ссылок в Google Maps перестала работать. Плюс "This add-on is not compatible with your version of Firefox".

Tested linking to https://www.whatismyreferer.com/ from a Google search, 23rd April 2017.
Setting rules to send the normal referer, a forged referer, no referer and a custom text string all worked as they should. Toggling the extension off from its toolbar icon resulted in the normal referer as expected.

Other active extensions were HTTPS Everywhere, uBlock Origin, and NoScript.

Not a WebExtension and thus incompatible with Firefox 57+. Suitable alternatives, including more general purpose header control extensions, may be available; look for something updated more recently than March 2016 when WebExtensions were added in Firefox 45.

My irritation with the people who allowed "HTTP referer" to be codified without it seeing the light of spellcheck continues to grow.

I'm not sure what happened but it just stopped redirecting websites out of nowhere. Gonna use an alternative add-on. L

I don't want to miss this plugin, however, it is not marked to be compatible with multiprocess Firefox (Electrolysis, E10S). Nonetheless, I have not noticed any flaws using RefControl together with E10S (FF 51.0.1 64-Bit, Linux).
Unfortunately, RefControll does not seem to be maintained any longer…

Doesn't change useragent in Firefox 48.0

I love this addon but it requires validation by Mozilla to be usable in Firefox 48.0

Simple and effective. Works on Pale Moon.

love it. does what it says!

Noté 5 sur 5 étoiles

Does what it says. Some sites will not function properly without a valid reference, and in those cases it is very quick and easy to switch the RefControl on/off for a particular site either permanently in the settings or temporarily.

White list does not work with IDN domains. Reference blocking is always on for domains with internationalized names despite added to white list both in native language and punycoded.
