Stacked Inspector

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Essential for DOMi on small screens.

Just Restart!

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Just this
Also adds a File menu and main panel item.
Can be manually modified easily to use another shortcut changing this line:
<key id="key_just_restart" key="Z" modifiers="accel,shift" command="cmd_just_restart" />
into just-restart-fx.xul and just-restart-tb.xul under chrome/content, removing META-INF folder (signature), and zipping everything to an .xpi.

ThunderBrowse

Rated 2 out of 5 stars

Needs update. Allows browsing once it opens its window, but weird things until then, with many items not responding.

ThunderTabs

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Extremely handy to easily access all existing about: pages in TB from about:about. Also to install addons without annoyingly having to download them from browser first. Is the best solution I found since WAT addon ceased to work, and ThunderBrowse needs update.

This won't allow to follow links and browse normally opening new pages, what seems a TB restriction for safety, but you can copy link and again open it in a new tab in case needed.

Is working on TB 51.0a1, and contrary to what other comment say, for me it appears in the list of installed extensions. The only thing missing is a keyboard shortcut/menu item.

Memory Fox

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I have released a new version solving the annoying popup dialog issue and enabling locales (which was causing the issue). Also you'll find a working link for the 64-bit application.

Annoying issue with harmless error dialogs on new windows opening.

JoiKh, sursur, Mozilla does not allow posting links to executables here. I see JoiKh.

Not working on FF 38.0a1, adds menu, but elements do nothing.

Addons Quick Search

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Very quick, no bloat. Should be part of the Addon Manager.

Very nice extension. I love the option to automatically bypass SSL security alert if the certificate pass the notary test. Other extensions automatically bypass that alert, and they can be useful especially on intranets or testing environments, but this one do the same with the strongness of the notary system, on the open internet. Great!.

Thanks to the guys of Carnegie Mellon.

Stylish - Custom themes for any website

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

A must have extension, an essential piece when you're not conforming with the default browser or some web page layout.
Among its strong points are the agility in testing styles, enabling and disabling them, or simply viewing the effects without installing or before appying the changes you've just made in the editor, that flexibility level is something you're not going to achieve through other layout modification extensions; also the fact that you'll probably can handle all, or most of the layout modifiers you are going to use, from the same monolithic manager, in the Addon Manager.

Scriptish

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Great addon, Greasemonkey with very nice extras. And now Greasefire is compatible with it.

If you're planning to use Scriptish 1.1.3 on a FF with an es-ES locale, there's a bug in the chrome.manifest file, where it says:
... locale/es_ES/locale ...
it should say:
... locale/es-ES/locale ...
This way you won't have problems opening the addons manager the first time you open it each time you restart FF. Or you can wait for a new version or use the last Scriptish nightly build:

Slim Add-ons Manager

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Great. It's working on FF 6.0a1 after editing maxversion in install.rdf file. It's just what I need, at least until Filter Extensions addon is updated to work on FF 4 and above versions (and even after that =) ).

I suggest to show addon description after addon name and version, even though line gets trimmed in small screens.

Quick Locale Switcher

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Working right on firefox 8.0a1 after manually editing FF maxversion into install.rdf file. Great extension.

@Frank E, in the ftp server it seems mozilla only publishes langpacks for namoroka, beta, aurora and nightly versions. For normal version it only publishes localized bundles. Look for folders with xxxx-l10n sufix here: ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/tinderbox-builds/ , maybe in ../tinderbox-builds/xxxx-l10n/install

Autohide Tabbar

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Performing well. For normal (horizontal) Tab bar, a narrow strip for the responsive area is showed. But if VertTabbar is used, this strip does not appear. I don't like the strip, and also I'm missing an option to define the responsive area in pixels.

Adblock Plus Pop-up Addon

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Works great, but it really needs Export-Import functions for whitelist and blacklist.

CipherFox

Great, but I'm missing it could reveal which one is a Extended Validation SSL connection.

RefControl

I love this addon because of its easy interface and concept. It should be a part of FF.
