Session Manager

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Hi Michael, hi everyone,

Session Manager extension still works nicely with last version of Waterfox (56.1 at the time of this post, WF still support old-style XUL addons) and replaces gracefully the Tab Mix Plus session management feature that is buggy with FF 55+ and Waterfox. Those two extensions can work together with ease: Session Manager for session management and TMP for tabs management (TMP recognizes Session Manager activity and auto-disables its session management feature!).

But because none of these addons are compatible with FF 57+, I now use Waterfox for months (sorry Mozilla, I've been a very long time user of your products but with your Chrome-replicant FF you lost me)...

Regards

Classic Toolbar Buttons [Tb24-58] (discontinued)

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Hi Aris,

Surprisingly, it seems to work with Linux... My test config is my personal dev web server. At the time of my post, here are its specs:
- Xubuntu 12.04 LTS (64 bits)
- Desktop Xfce 4.8
- Firefox 31
- Classic Toolbar Buttons 1.4.2
- Classic Theme Restorer 1.2.3
- Classic Bookmarks Button 1.0
- Personal Menu 6.2.0
... and many other addons...
- Ubuntu Firefox Modification addon is disabled

That way, I can get back the Kempelton icons... There are a few display bugs but nearly none when disabling classic style for nav bar buttons. I did not try other options nor with last Ubuntu release.

Regards,
Johan

Classic Toolbar Buttons [Tb24-58] (discontinued)

Thank you really for the Kempelton icons, these work really great!!

The combination of Classic Theme Restorer, Classic Toolbar Buttons and Classic Bookmarks Button is a very nice trio!! And these are compatible with many personas to get back a great Kempelton look'n' feel.

Thanx again for your job ;-)

CuteMenus - Crystal SVG

Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Although it doesn't assume to be compatible with Firefox 3.5, it runs very fine with it! But we have to manually modify the "install.rdf" file in the extension folder to change the maxVersion from 3.0.* to 3.5.* to do the job. But sometimes it is best to make the extension to be compatible using another one: Mr Tech Toolkit. One star left.

Other problem: the Flat Style doesn't run fine with Thunderbird and Linux (Xfce 2.6): spaces between menu entries are lost! No problems running TB on Windows (XP SP3). Only a bug, no star left.

Last but not least: CuteMenus - Crystal SVG project doesn't seem to be still alive, its website is seems to be lost into the web jungle. Second star left.

Wait & see for further updates (if there will be some)...
