Minor Bug Report: In TB 115.6.0 (64-bit) the keyboard shortcuts do not work. The View --> Sort By --> Threaded/Unthreaded/Grouped objects do work when you click them, just not the keyboard shortcuts (T/U/G).

Super useful add-on!
To have a 'ON/OFF' button for threads would make it even better.

Awesome addon. Requires updating to release 115 TB.

This extension doesn't want to load, let alone work with Thunderbird 103.0b4 and now there's 103.0b5. Why won't Mozilla folks realize (as others have stated) that it is defaulted into the "threaded" mode, in which emails aren't shown and are missed? Please help and a reply would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

ThreadKey stopped working for me in Daily 104.0a1 also, but after upgrading Daily to current version it worked again, so I suspect there was some bug causing this problem...

I can install in 103.0b5 without problems, but you need to restart Thunderbird before the new keybindings work!

Perfect. I'm using it on TB 60 and macOS 10.12.6.

Updated version 1.3 is not working with Thunderbird 38.5.0. It is installed, enabled, seems to work but doesn't react on keys T, U, G.
Gosh, do I need to disable automatic updates manually? If You guys are not sure Your new version is working with older release don't put this as compatible.

Checked again and 1.2 works perfectly with 38.5.0, 1.3 - acts as not doing anything in TB.

I'm sorry, I didn't check this as thorough as I thought. It seems that ThreadKey 1.3 is indeed only compatible with Thunderbird 52.0 and higher, because of the new asynchronous loading :$

Simple, effective, useful. Nothing more to say --- thanks.

Does what it promises, this feature could be part of the core version of Thunderbird.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.7).

Thanks for your review. Unfortunately this feature won't be added to core Thunderbird, because it is against Mozilla's interface guidelines to use single printable characters as a keyboard shortcut.

Works excellently.

I strongly recommend using this together with "keyconfig", not least if you also use "Nostalgy" in which case "G" is already taken.

Simple, very useful and has always proved compatible with all my personal buggy features and tentative extensions.

open .xpi with winrar and edit install.rdf
and change the line maxversion to
maxVersion="3.1.*"

works fine with TB3.1

It would be embarrassing to say how long I looked for something that would let me toggle and untoggle "View > Sort by > Threaded" with a single keystroke. Mac OS X Keyboard Shortcuts, AppleScripts, config, add-ons, nothing -- thank heavens I found this add-on, finally. It does exactly what I wanted it to do, and it's compatible with Thunderbird 3.1.

Used to be very useful, BUT doesn't work on Thunderbird 3.1 - according to the install.rdf file only up to Thunderbird 3.0b1 is supported.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.5).

The extension still works in Thunderbird 3.1. The max version from install.rdf is overruled by the version specified on addons.mozilla.org, which is 3.2a1pre at the moment...

This is very good addon, but I have faced with a problem in one particular case:
I have created new search folder in Thunderbird and have included there all messages from "Inbox" and "Sent Items" (Edit->Find->Search Messages->Save As Search Folder, Give it a name, Choose "Inbox" and "Send Items" folders, select "Match all messages", press OK). And ThreadKey works incorrectly in this new folder - no + and dots appeared :-(
Could anybody give and advice how to solve this problem?

This is Thunderbird bug 379806 which is fixed in Thunderbird 3.0.

If you are a mailing list adict this extension will help you a lot. Before it was imposible to me to have a folder view with the newest first withouth breaking the threaded view. With this one I can see always the newest threads on top, like I am used to in my mail views.

I like this add-on because sorting a folder's content by date or something different (obviously) breaks with the threaded view. Using this extension I can quickly restore my beloved threaded view without navigating through several sub-menues.

Hi, the T keyset is already used to go to next unread thread.
I've prefered to install keyconfig extension and put whatever key I want for MsgSortThreaded(); and MsgSortUnthreaded(); commands !!!
