Très pratique pour envoyer directement un gros fichier sur un hébergeur et seulement avoir le lien dans le mail, tout ça de façon automatique.

A very good and useful extension!

It would be convenient if all (simultaneously) selected files would be packed into one upload instead of one upload per file!

Love it! Makes things so much more easier and secure. I'm only confused about one what the maximum time limit is to download a file. 10080 is the maximum but it'll notify me that it is over the limit.

Thanks for the review! To answer your question, the maximum time limit depend on what Send service instance you use, but it can range from 1 day to 1 year. For the default https://send.vis.ee instance, it currently is 3 days (10,800 minutes).

Great job, as it's a bit slow in acquiring the attachment(s), it would be nice if there was a download progress bar so the user would know it's working.
On some occasion the user cancels due to ignorance.

Хорошее дополнение, большое спасибо создателю. Хотелось бы в настройках иметь возможность установки пароля, на сайте https://send.vis.ee/ такая возможность есть, а в дополнении нету. И хотелось бы видеть прогрессбар загрузки.

Nice addition, many thanks to the creator. I would like to be able to set a password in the settings, on the site https://send.vis.ee/ there is such an opportunity, but in the add-on there is none. And I would like to see the download progress bar.

Funciona perfeitamente na versão 102. No momento que for detectado que o anexo é muito grande, ele sugere que seja gerado um link para o arquivo. Com prazo de validade e limite de download até ser excluído do repositório online.

The addon is great and works as intended. Big thanks to the author for making it! The only real issue I have experienced with it recently is that it does not allow you to link attachments to Dropbox when your file name contains the Polish characters such as ż ą ę etc. It seems they are not supported. When I remove such characters from a file name, the addon allows to link them into Dropbox. Otherwise it displays an error message: "An unknown error occured when communicating with ." - Yes, there is a white space in the end and a "." character. Dear author if possible, please solve this issues. Thank you.

UPDATE: Yes, exactly, I meant the FileLink Provider for Dropbox addon. Thank you for your quick reaction and the bug report!

UPDATE 2: It seems the issue is solved now. Thank you very much for your kind support! Bumping up the rating to 5 stars :D.

Thanks for the review! This add-on is not for Dropbox, so maybe you meant it for the "FileLink Provider for Dropbox" add-on. Anyway, I was able to confirm the issue, which is actually a Thunderbird 102 regression that affects all FileLink add-ons. I reported it to them: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1789589

I have found all of Teal's software projects really complete and bug free. This add-on is no different. I would highly recommend it.

Great, though, the text of the email lacks an automatic alert for the recipient of the message to let him know the number of times he can fetch the file sent and after how many days he can no longer do it.

Thanks for the review! Unfortunately, FileLink add-ons have no control over the template text added to e-mails. Thunderbird did just add support for adding the download limit and expiry time (see bug 1643729), which this add-on also supports as of version 1.1 a few days ago, but it requires at least Thunderbird 97 beta. Most users will get this with Thunderbird 102 ESR later this year.
