Markdown Here Revival is a Thunderbird extension that lets you write emails in Markdown and render them as HTML before sending.
Get Map for Thunderbird
The "Get Map" button from the old address book is missing in Thunderbird 102 and 115, this extension puts it back. OpenStreetMap and Google Maps are both available. OpenStreetMap is configured by default and can be changed in the Add-ons Manager.
